Newark Valley FFA Officers Travel to Cornell University for Leadership Training

On Saturday, September 20, the officers of the Newark Valley FFA Chapter traveled to Ithaca for a Chapter Officer Leadership Training, or COLT, Conference at Cornell University.

This trip was an opportunity for Newark Valley's FFA chapter leaders to network with other officers around the state of New York. The students were also able to participate in a series of workshops offered by COLT. These workshops included tips on how to become better at public speaking, building thriving teams, and recognizing and harnessing the power of influence. This was a great chance for the
